The Big Idea
Goal - To connect this generation of Jews to their Children and Grandchildren with an optimistic view of Israel and our Jewish Community
Israel-100th Anniversary Mission....Offered now as an optimistic connection to us and our progeny. The Federation will market to our community a mission to Israel in 2048 celebrating the 1st Hundred years. Money collected will be invested in an endowment to fund the program.
The Impact
I believe if properly executed, Mission Israel 100 will galvanize the Jewish Community as a whole. Certainly one thing that all Jews can agree with is how majestic it will be to stand in Jerusalem with our Children and Grand children on the 100th Yom Ha'atzmaut. It will be the thing we speak about to our children as they grow and it will be that which offers us pride in the Jewish Experience and the rich culture we are fostering for our children. It tugs the heart strings for the financial commitment the Jewish Federation needs and it does so without dogma... only an optimistic goal that we can all embrace.
This Is A Great Idea Because
It is a true... Generation to Generation commitment that will unite veryone who learns about it. Mission Israel 100 is for everyone.
