In the four weeks since the Next Big Jewish Idea site launched, we’ve posted over 170 ideas from individuals, non-profits, and businesses.  

Your incredible and creative ideas have generated over 13,000 votes and have given the Jewish community of Los Angeles a lot to think about.

If you haven’t already submitted your big idea, get moving! You have until March 31, 2011 to submit and promote your idea.

Challah At Home - Challah at Home delivers frozen artisanal challah dough to the doorsteps of Jewish homes in Los Angeles. The goal of Challah at Home is to encourage Los Angeles Jews to braid, bake and eat challah. Vote for this idea.

Stars of David - A Jewish comedy sketch show/ news program starring a cast of up-and- coming Jewish comedic talent, featuring Jewish celebrity hosts and Jewish musical performances. Vote for this idea.

JTXT - JTXT is an SMS-based Jewish quiz system that will utilize the fact that teenagers love texting to promote Jewish awareness and knowledge amongst Jewish high school students. Vote for this idea.

Free Sleep Away Camp for All Jewish Kids - Similar to Birthright, every Jewish kid age 11-15 should be offered one week of Jewish camp free. Vote for this idea.
